Lucas Watson

Lucas is a Venture Partner at Archer Venture Capital. In addition, Lucas serves on the Board of Directors for WW Grainger, a publicly traded Fortune 500 company and the First Tee of Silicon Valley. Prior to Archer, Lucas was most recently the President of Sphere Entertainment Company, which developed a new entertainment arena that is disrupting the live music and entertainment industry. Before Sphere, Lucas was the Senior Vice President of Commercialization at Cruise, the self-driving car company owned by General Motors. Lucas was also the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Intuit and a Vice President at Google, where he led the growth of YouTube from its earliest days as a commercial business. Early in his career, Lucas held a series of marketing and sales roles at Procter & Gamble, where he led much of their multi-billion dollar Baby Care business for 17 years.

Lucas lives in Menlo Park, California and holds an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and a BA from Hamilton College. Lucas is the proud Dad to four teenagers and spends his free time coaching and working with the First Tee.
