Ethelbert Williams
Ethelbert is a Scout at Archer Venture Capital. Ethelbert has more than 20 years of global commercial leadership experience, having championed marketing and sales strategies across direct-to-consumer ecommerce, pure play marketplaces, and omnichannel retailers. Ethelbert currently leads the eCommerce group at Johnson & Johnson Consumer where he is tasked with accelerating sales growth and profitability for the business and serves on the U.S. Customer Development Leadership Team.
Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Ethelbert built the ecommerce organization at The Boston Beer Company where he oversaw go-to-market and sales strategy across digital channels including Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, Target, Amazon and GoPuff. He was also accountable for the development of fulfillment partnerships across Uber, Instacart and DoorDash.
Previously, Ethelbert drove go-to-market and channel expansion for the personal and facial cleansing categories at Kimberly-Clark Corporation. In addition, he has held brand leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Unilever.
Ethelbert received a Bachelor of Science from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where he serves as an Adjunct Lecturer focused on digital marketing, media and innovation graduate program curriculum. He also sits on the Board of Directors for NSF International and The Delta Institute.
