Anand is a Venture Scout at Archer Venture Capital.

Anand is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience, passionate about advising, investing in, and working with growth and later-stage technology companies. Anand possesses deep expertise in fintech, commerce enablement, mobility, and vertical SaaS with an exceptional track record in the investment of growth/ structured capital and capital raising.

Previously, Anand co-led the capital solutions and growth and structured equity principal investment business at Macquarie Capital. While there, he scaled the investment strategy from concept into a dedicated $1Bn strategy, leading >$300M of equity investments into growth-stage companies. Anand led the firm’s highly successful investments into companies such as Credit Karma (acquired by Intuit) and Trilogy Education (acquired by 2U).

Prior to that, Anand built out the Private Capital Markets business at Qatalyst Partners and Morgan Stanley, leading >$15Bn of transactions for 50+ leading technology companies including DocuSign, Coupa, Adjust, Mobileye, Box, and Alibaba.

Prior to his time at Morgan Stanley and Qatalyst, Anand was instrumental in the creation of EquiLend, the industry leading trading platform in the Securities Lending sector founded by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, State Street, and Barclays Global Investors. Anand led the initial formation of the industry consortium and platform build and launch, catalyzing digital transformation in the sector.

Today, Anand is a managing partner at SIZE Capital, a growth-stage, commerce-enablement focused investment manager, and in addition, serves as senior advisor to several venturestage SaaS companies in the commerce ecosystem.

Anand received a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University (Summa Cum Laude) and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. Anand lives in Austin, TX with his son, wife, and Corgi named Lucy.
