Lucas Watson is a Partner at Archer Capital Group. Prior to Archer, Lucas had a 30-year career as an operating executive who helped commercialize and scale some of the world’s most innovative consumer-facing technology brands including Sphere, Cruise, Intuit, and YouTube. Early in his career, Lucas held a variety of marketing and digital transformation roles at Procter & Gamble.  

From 2011 to 2016 Lucas was the Vice President Global Brand Solutions at Google where he led the revenue growth of YouTube from $100M to over $7 Billion. From 2016 to 2018, Lucas was the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Intuit and played an instrumental role in the globalization of Quickbooks. From 2018 to 2021, Lucas was the Senior Vice President for Go to Market for Cruise, the self-driving startup owned by General Motors. From 2022to 2023, Lucas was the President of Sphere Entertainment Company which has transformed the live entertainment industry. Early in his career, Lucas held a variety of general management, marketing, and digital transformation roles at Procter & Gamble. Lucas was a key leader for the Pampers brand franchise and led the shift from TV and Print to digital advertising for Procter and Gamble.  

Lucas serves on the board of W.W. Grainger (2017 to present) a Fortune 500 publicly traded company. Lucas also serves on the board of Hatch(2023 to present) which is a Archer Capital Group portfolio investment and is aboard director for the First Tee of Silicon Valley (2019 to present). 

Lucas holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and a Master's in Business Administration from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
